1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on the User's device. Together with other technologies such as local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) or tracking pixels, they allow a website to remember information, improve the experience or, in other cases, collect data on the User.
This policy is drafted in accordance with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the Guide on the use of cookies published by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), in its current version.
2. Cookies and storage used by this Website
Soline Transfer is designed minimalistically regarding tracking. Alongside strictly technical storage required for the Website to work, it uses a web analytics tool (Google Analytics 4) that is only activated if the User gives express consent via the cookie banner shown on the first visit.
2.1 Technical cookies and storage (consent-exempt)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
soline-lang |
localStorage | Remember the language chosen by the User (EN, DE, RU, PL, FR, ES) to display the site in that language on later visits. | Persistent, until cleared from the browser. |
soline-consent |
localStorage | Remember the User's decision on analytics cookies (accepted or rejected) so the banner is not shown again. | Persistent, until cleared or revoked via the "Cookie preferences" link. |
These items are strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the User (language selection and respect of their cookie decision) and are exempt from prior consent under Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE and the AEPD guidance.
2.2 Analytics cookies (consent-required)
The following Google Analytics 4 cookies are installed only after the User's express acceptance through the banner. If the User rejects or makes no choice, they are not set.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Ireland Limited | Distinguish users and generate aggregated usage statistics for the Website. | 2 years |
_ga_VNC81YDZ4N |
Google Ireland Limited | Persist session state for the Google Analytics 4 property (ID G-VNC81YDZ4N). |
2 years |
We do not use: Meta Pixel, Google Ads / remarketing, heatmaps, session recordings, own or third-party advertising cookies, or any other behavioural identifier. Analytics is configured with IP anonymisation and no data-sharing with advertising.
3. Third-party resources loaded
The Website loads certain resources from third-party servers for proper functioning and presentation. These third parties do not install cookies on the User's device when serving the resources, but requesting them implies sending the User's IP address and basic technical data (User-Agent, referring page, browser language) to those third parties.
| Third party | Resource | Purpose | More info |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Ireland Limited | Web fonts (Inter, Outfit) from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com |
Display the site in brand typography. | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Unsplash Inc. | Illustrative images from images.unsplash.com |
Display illustrative photos in hero, route and destination sections. | unsplash.com/privacy |
The User may block these external resources using browser privacy extensions (uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger or similar). Blocking may affect the visual presentation but not the essential functionality of the Website.
4. Consent, banner and Google Consent Mode v2
On the first visit, the Website shows a cookie banner with two equally prominent options:
- "Accept" — enables the Google Analytics 4 cookies described in section 2.2.
- "Reject" — keeps analytics cookies disabled. Only the technical storage in section 2.1 is used.
The banner stays visible until the User makes a choice. The choice is stored in the browser (soline-consent) so the banner is not shown again. Continuing to browse, closing the banner or scrolling is not interpreted as acceptance: without an explicit choice, analytics cookies remain disabled.
4.1 Google Consent Mode v2
The Website implements Google Consent Mode v2, Google's official framework for compliance with European privacy law. How it works:
- Google tags (Google Analytics 4) load in the browser but with the default consent state set to "denied" for analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization.
- Until the User accepts, Google Analytics does not install persistent cookies or transmit identifiers that could individually recognise the User.
- Only if the User clicks "Accept", analytics_storage changes to "granted" and the
_gaand_ga_VNC81YDZ4Ncookies are installed. - Advertising and personalisation features remain disabled in any case (we do not use them).

5. How to withdraw or change consent
The User can change their cookie decision at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the Website footer. Clicking it reopens the banner; the new choice propagates immediately to Google Analytics.
Alternatively, the User may delete the soline-consent key from local storage; the banner will appear again on the next visit.
6. How to manage browser storage
The User may delete the cookies and local storage saved by this Website from their browser settings at any time. Instructions for the main browsers:
"Do Not Track" and private browsing modes also limit cookie and storage use.
7. Changes to this policy
The Controller reserves the right to amend this Cookies Policy to reflect legal, AEPD-guidance or technical changes. The current version will always be the one published on the Website.
